By the Sleepy Lagoon
Illustration, Coda, March 1944, for Columbia Records release By the Sleepy Lagoon, by Eric Coates conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra—available on a 12" platter for the princely price of one buck.
Sadly, we have SOLD OUT of this item, Mr. Ern. A dealer in Albuquerque just bought the last six copies. We ordered a fresh batch from the pressing plant, but their voicemail indicates they're on staff retreat at Club Sleepy Lagoon. Please be patient for your platter pending re-stock. Hold that buck. Do not squander it on fetishistic self-indulgences.
