What are the little cards on the right hand side of the folder? They look like they're about the size of baseball cards. Just samples for prospective clients maybe?
Those are reference images from scans compiled on digital "contact sheets" by co-archivist Barbara Economon. The images (all except upper left) originated from an abandoned draft of a 1943 children's book entitled The X-Ray Eye of Wallingford Hume. All pages will be reproduced full-size in a gallery included in our forthcoming book The Sweetly Diabolic Art of Jim Flora.
Ahhh, I see. I was hoping for a set of Flora trading cards. Like the LP covers, I stand no chance of collecting the whole set, but I can dream. So you two have been working on this new book for longer than you've let on...
Once we discovered the larger Flora fine art collection (which occurred after the first book), we estimated two to five more books, of which Sweetly Diabolic will be the 2nd. We're still hoping to compile two more, along with a few specialized spinoffs that merit publication.
